Best turbo for 400-550WHP ( Im lost .. )
Hi Everyone, this is my second post here and i am looking at a single turbo to choose. Ive had a research, but all the threads are old that come up ( 2003 - 2012 ish ) . I know that turbos are changing and updating, and its 2021 now I have no idea what turbos are out there.
I have been looking at a gt35r, but as you know it seems like an outdated turbo, I dont know the difference between new and old ones apart from maybe faster spool times and better efficiency?
Im not the richest person in the world, Budget would be around 1.5k NZD
Not fussed about how fast it can spool, maybe something that can make 400 on a max of 15psi ? Again Im not familar at all with all the options so maybe someone running something similar would be helpful.\
Cheers, Links would be appreciated too

both your budget and power levels works very well for a Borg Warner SX-E 62 with a 76 mm turbine and .91 hotside housing. the turbo is very friendly priced for the engineering within. i have completely tested it on my own car so speak from direct experience.
I recently installed a GT3582R and freaking LOVE IT. Spool about as good as twins. Starts building boost in the 2000s, full boost like 3300. even 500 should be an easy goal for this turbo, I am only at 10psi currently, and it feels faster than my twins at 15.
