Arrow Best spark plug wires are???

What is the best spark plugs wires to use on an FD? I've tried to do a search, however, I didn't find any information that was helpful. I've been reading up on Magnecor 10mm wires, which sounds pretty good, what do you guys think is the best wires out there?

For the street car just use the stock NGK's. L=BUR7EQ, T=BUR9EQ. If you are modded, a lot of folks just use the 9's on all 4 because they are cooler. I use all 9's, and I'm putting down 400+ rwhp...

Taylors 10mm, you can get them from Summit racing for a decent price. I think around 50 bucks?

Taylors are excellent, great wires with excellent end connectors. The Magnacores are excellent as well and they have the advantage of lasting indefinitely minus any corrosion at the connections.

My experience with the Taylor Spiro-pro wires ... eliminated ignition break-up at high rpms and improved overall driveability over stock wires, best $35 I ever spent on my car. Unlike the Magnacores, Taylors will need to be replaced from time to time as their performance falls off.

Plugs, Splitfires. Wires. I run Taylor and Jacob's myself. Both are great. May try some of those expensive Vitech or what ever or some nice Racing Beat ones next time though, just to give them a try.

Arrow Here's my 1,2,3

1. Taylor Pro (come in yellow)
2. Racing Beat Street (red)
3. Vitek (come in yellow)

I use the Vitek and they rule! They barely even get warm, the sleaving is great.

Re: Best spark plug wires are???

on a stock/mildly moddified car the stock NGK wires are great...they fit perfectly on both ends..

on modified cars the Magnecors or Taylors are fine

Shielded 14-2. If you run it right you'll get an extra engine ground for free. ;D

I've always just ran the NGK stock wires. I upgraded last summer to the magnecor race wires. I noticed no difference at all and I definitely didn't see any gains at the track. Not worth the money, imo.

I agree with zinx if the wires and plugs are in good shape almost all makes will work well.

I relocated my coils a short distance and thats why i went with the taylor cut to fit wires> and the v8 set gave me twice the wires for not much more money.

I would say clean, non pinched, non nicked, and proper booted wires will work about the same.
