goal

My goal is to have a reliable street car with the most amount of HP available without sacrificing daily driving needs. What is the dif. between the tO4s and the tO4e?
Basically daily driven 10 second monster, with option to spray later.

When you say option to spray, I take it you mean running some Nitrous Oxide for drag racing? From what I understand, most of the fast RX-7 drag racers just use the NO2 to spool the big big turbos.
Ken has run a lot of simulations showing what it theoretically takes to run certain 1/4 mile times, and from that you can see that you don't really need a huge turbo to run 10's but it really comes down to many factors, the size of the turbo being only one. Slicks? Tranny? Suspension? Like people said though, it seems generally accepted that over 400-450rwhp becomes very hard to drive on the street.
The TO4S is pretty much a T04E with a 60-1 .7 comp and 1.15 A/R, at least that is what has been said in other threads here.

u wont need 600 hp to get you in the 11's all u need is around 450

How many times do I have to tell you,you can get in the 11's with 380 rwhp. You have plenty of MPH to get you there with a good launch.

Also, anything is streetable in my opinion. It might not be reliable but anything is streetable.

There are several people around here that runs 10's and even low 9's, but most of those cars aren't exactly street drivable any more. Sounds like to me you should go with something like a t-78, or equivelant size. That way you can run 425-450rwhp on the street, then turn up the boost for the track aided with some race fuel, and have potential to hit 10's with no problem, as long as you have some slicks and a rear end that can support that much power. A bad driver in an rx7 should be able to hit 11's with 400rwhp.

Let me get this straight. A stock Rx7 runs 13.9-14.2. Are you guys telling me that just by spending 4k on a turbo kit i could be running 11's?????

No you have to buy numerous other items also. To get those high of numbers your engine must be ported. You then have to have the correct fuel components, ecu, ic, exhaust, tuning, etc. At least double your $$ amount and you may be getting close.

yeah to support that kind of power you need all kinds of extras:

IC, radiator, fuel pump, injectors, suspension upgrades, ECU, exhaust, etc, etc

so at least another 6-7k in extras

You only need around 320-330 rwhp to get into the elevens...363 gets you 11.4's and 380's gets you 11.0...
