Assist for a single???

I saw this on another thread, and while I was thinking I suddenrealized this might be help for the single turbo people. First off a little background. With any device that centrifugially moves a fluid (air) the RPM of the compressor has a huge effect on the pressure differential that the device can attain, GIVIN A FIXED DENSITY. Keeping that in mind, I saw the what I thought was somewhat hokey electric supercharger, I was thinking that if a single turbo suddenly had air that was 5-10% denser, it would be able to make boost earlier, how much earlier, I am unsure of. Calculating those numbers are above my ability. I am really wondering what that device could do to lower the spooling point of a single turbo. I wonder how much lower in rpm it could push the usable boost levels. If I had a single, I think this might make a interesting experiment. Imagine if the spool rpm came down even 500 rpm, how much would that help streetability, and passing without downshifting. Any ideas, input, theory why this would, would not work??

im no expert, but right off the top of my head, can the supercharger flow enough as the turbo? if not it could become a restriction once the turbo does spool up

maybe if you had two inlets and some sort of valving so when the supercharger became a burden, it would switch to a normal intake.
