Aspec GT35/40 Drool shots
Actually Nocab dynoed at 416 RWHP at 16lbs a week ago. That is on a "Tuned" raceported motor. 500 RWHP under 20lbs is stretching it. Not saying it wont happen, but I would like to see it.

I don't think a doubter is a hater, Rice is correct, NO ONE including nocab/ihor has ever posted a sheet SAE over LOW 400s, not even 450, or 475. Ihor, and Silver93 both claim big numbers, but to Petes point no sheets to back it up. Call me the hater, I am the first that called BS on 500rwhp SAE on that turbo, AJC says just you wait, then sells his car, and posts a barely 400hp sheet, whatever... There are alot of people spending thousands to reach a goal, how would you feel sinking that cash into such an expensive(not upgradable) turbo, only to find out its no better than a properly sized TO4S? I posted the challenge over 14 months ago, and no one has stepped up, I have asked every owner that has posted to show us a sheet in that range, NO SHEET. I posted looking for a turbo to do what everybody claims this one will do, with the hopes it was for real. So far it is pipe dream, nothing more.
Many people have the 3540, and they love its fast response, and good power, that is fine, but high 400s, and 500rwhp has not been posted after a couple years of **** talking. Post a sheet, or do not post.......... BYE

I am glad you went to the effort to clarify your companies view point. I was not putting words in your mouth, I was asking for what I asked for.
There is MANY a claim on this board that this turbo easily supports 500rwhp (or even more) on a 13B rotary and to date NO ONE has ever seen a sheet to validate this claim.
Have you ever seen one ?

The only thing I'm left to answer is, why even post on this thread if all you want to do is bash the product. This thread had nothing to do with the turbo, I showed Tony the new DP, he felt like sharing and somehow I'm now stuck defending my product against people who aren't even in the market for one, nor ever will be.

Dont sell short the people who are asking for proof, they have more money to waste on cars than most people can dream of
They spend LOTS, they do their research, and they expect results not promisies from vendors or enthusiasts who cant deliver on their claims (I am not say you are one of these)
The secret here is people in the majority are asking becasue they are interested and are potential customers, nothing less ! Some of course are time wasters, but I have seen lots of people in my time on this board who are asking cause they are in the market ! Those people want to buy of results not of rumors or hype, reads Carls post and if you can provide us some sheets to answer our questions if you think guys like us are worth it ?
Untill this question is answered with a reputable sheet it will be regarded as a pipe dream and should be of no interest to people who are interested in making 500rwhp or more, for a low 400rwhp this turbo has proven its self ............... congrats

Would be nice to see one pushed to crack this range of power, as lets face it, thats what quite a few of us are interested in. The fact that it is well within the claims of all vendors (turbos power capacity) should be an easy enough task surley ?
If it was we would be seeing **** loads of sheets ! the fact that no one has ever seen ONE is proof enough that the doubts are well founded in my books, but as always I will stay tuned ................ maybe one day/week/month/year/decade someone will will break the current trend set for this turbo combination ?
I was refering to you, I don't see you in need of this kit any time soon, as for Carl, he can reach the goals he has expressed, and obviously this isn't what he is looking for so thats all that needs to be said about it, I see no need to hop on to every single thread about this kit and begin to talk smack at each other, again what does any of this have to do with the new mandrel bent DP.
Sean, for my part I am attacking no one, you provide good products at fair prices IMHO. The manifold could be improved, you know that. The Turbo CANNOT live up to its reputation. Not your fault, or problem, as you pointed out, you give the customer a reasonable expectation of power, many do not. As for not being in the market, I will let that slide, I was in the market, contacted you, and passed, we will leave it at that.
I never said that you weren't in the market either, all that was said was this kit is not for you, I wasn't taking anything you said as a attack at me or my product as for contacting me I was left wondering what ever happened with that anyway, I figured you found what you were looking for, and busy as I am if you don't stay on me I tend to forget.

Has anybody even seen the DP? does anyone even care about the DP? Please can we all just take notice of the DP, Did I mention the new mandrel bent DP, stainless, smoother flow ,and at no extra cost to you, same low price

Sean, sorry I did not let you know I decided to go another way. I have always recomended your shop to those looking for this kit.
I think the reason we jump on the 3540 threads is that the potential buyers often do not have realistic expectations, when someone lets them know what it takes to get to 500, they say "it says it'll make 700hp". The purpose of the board in my mind is an open communication of information. You choose to use the forum (TECH Forum) to sell your goods, that's fine, but be ready for the techies
, . If you were on a selling portion of the forum I am sure you would never hear a word of criticism from anyone, but you are on the TECH portion of the Forum.
Anyway, I wish you all the best fortune with your company, and your products. i am sure I will need your services someday, hopefully you wont take this personally, Best regards to all, Carl

hrmp, hardly tuned would be a much closer statement to the truth, (I had the car running 2 days with a completed fuel system which would finally hold fuel pressure over the entire RPM range before I made a couple test dyno pulls), over 80 degree's outside, humid as hell, with a cracked wastegate flange and toasted gasket between my exhaust mani and wastegate, leaking exhaust pressure out like crazy before the turbo would hardly be called "good" circumstances for high dyno numbers.
I only made two pulls because all I wanted to see was where my peak tq and peak hp #'s fell before I finished tweaking my timing maps.

hate or doubt, but 500rwhp on the GT35/40 isn't far away, I'll post the sheet!

No claims on RWHP were made by the thread starter.
Stir it up somewhere else.
Thanks

Now this post REALLY represents your sum total contribution to the thread. I have now formed enough of an opinion about you to agree with quite a few of your countrymen.
Are we having fun yet?

I deal in "facts" and what has been delivered, I give it based on results not ON HYPE, simple as that.
The facts are as follows.........
NEVER SEEN a 500rwhp sae sheet of the famed gt35/40 (on a 13B)
NEVER SEEN one close to it !
HAVE SEEN plenty of excuses
HAVE SEEN plenty of HATE towards people who ask for proof
We ALL await your sheet with expectation, hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later .............. Dont be a groupie (of the we hate RICE RACING club) just because you have no facts to back up your claims of 500rwhp @ 20psi, you just sound like a whining "bitch" just like the rest of them
