Has any one tried the ARO SPEED cold air intake filter ?,ie , the one that comes with the filter enclosed in a plastic housing / heat shield which attaches via a 5" opening and also has a 4" opening at the other end to connect the " cold air ducting " to .I am thinking about installing this filter directly to my turbo and routing the appropriate 4" nitrile rubber ducting to pull cold air from the front of the car.

 

If you are referring to Aero Speed stuff, that name is most associated with auto accessories tailor for the Honda rice market because of their cheap foreign made price.

By all means if budget is what you are after, then surely their price shouldn't be that outrageous.

Price isnt really an issue its more the functionality of the filter.
