I use the apexi fmic. We had to move the radiator and the ac condenser, not to mention get a smaller battery.

Re: Apexi RX6

The apexi turbo kit comes with piping that is for the APEXi FMIC only..if you have a different IC you just need to cut and fab a pipe to lead to your IC..not really a big deal

I have the APex FMIC from RX7 Fashion and didn't have to relocate the radiator, the battery or anything. AND the best part is the i/c fills up the mouth on my bumper perfectly! Oh yeah, it's huge, too...

It works fine with M2 race also less pressure drop, spinner aint working so hard. Relocated battery means better balance and alot easier than pulling of the nose.I have a twelve inch fan on my intercooler works absolutely fantastic for heat soak and keeping my under hood temps cool it doesn't even feel warm under there when a go for the latch.

I use a CWR intercooler... still without a duct.
But the piping issue was relatively simple. I cut the intercooler intake pipe and it fit perfectly.

I run a custom SMIC & relocated the battery to the trunk. Helps keep that stealthy appearance but with a bite! No problems with heat soak.

I too use the CWC IC (NO DUCT!) and it was only one cut I had to make to make it fit.
