Apex RX-6 comp. surge

Guys, I just installed a Blitz BO valve but it is not openening fast enough and the comp. is surging a bit. The vac. hose is a bit long because of mounting the valve near the front of the drivers side. The vac. source is from the upper intake. Any suggestions, I doubt it is normal.

Thanks

Guys any help would be great. I just shortened the silicon hose to make it as short as possible. Did not help. I have a older Blitz mounted after the Greddy elbow on the IC pipe. Could this be a racing spring? I lubed the brass cup with grease and it helped a bit. The turbo will surge and then the valve opens for about 1-2 seconds and snap shut. Do I need a new bov?

Thanks

You need to loosen the spring on the top almost all the way out and then try it. I have this same problem with this blowoff valve if the spring is not spun almost all the way out.

The screw is all the way out, well almost like you said. maybe a larger dia. silicon hose might help like a 3.5 mm instead of 3.2 mm
