A'pex-i S-AFC II and T70??

I am in the process of building a T70 FD3S. I have a street port, the fuel system from RX7.com (1600cc secondaries and 850cc primaries), a Spearco intercooler, and I plan to run 15psi low boost and 20psi high boost until I can get a standalone ECU and alcohol injection. Can anyone reccomend a way to set up my AFC with the stock ECU to keep my engine safe? This will be a daily driver, and I need to keep it a little rich to stay safe. I have heard several negatives about the AFC, but I have also heard that it will work to keep the engine from detenating, although it may not be the best for exact tuning. Thanks for any help!

You will have a very hard time getting the super AFC to control those injectors at all. The car may run but you would have a hard time driving it. You need an ECU that will control both fuel and timing or you will blow the motor.

isn't that thing like $500?

sometimes you can find a powerFC on here for around $950. it sounds like you are on the right track for a nice car. don't be another horror story by wanting to save a few bucks now because you'll need them and a lot more later.

i waited alomost two years before i got my car back up and running. all that time, piece by piece, i was trying to build a fast car that i didn't need to worry about blowing up (fingers crossed).

but i did eat a Z06 the other night with a three car dessert

Super AFC will make it next to impossible to tune your fuel correctly. I think you need to worry more about TIMING...Have you ever seen what a stock timing map looks like? It's DEFINITELY not written for a single turbo rotary.
