Anyone using the $28 1680cc Injectors ?
They're remans but my last 1680cc injectors from
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com were also remans. I paid $120 for a pair last time for my FD. But, I've now found several places that sell them for $28 each with a $10 core. So, $38 each out the door.
I need to buy (8) of them this week so any type of savings will help.

But, that's not where you can get them for $28 each.
After doing numerous searches, I figured that someone out there has to reman/rebuild these and sell them for basically nothing. Well, I found some place.
The company that remans/rebuilds these is http://www.gbreman.com/
The two companies that I've found that sell GB's products are www.rockauto.com and http://www.fuelinjectorsoutlet.com/
GB REMANUFACTURING Part # 82211133
Simply look up an injector for a 1999 FORD CROWN VICTORIA 4.6L 281cid V8 CNG FI (9) : Fuel/Air : Fuel Injector
The GB Part # is a replacement for the Ford 1680cc Part # F5TE-B5A

Because some of them ran on a different fuel than regular gas hence the need for big injectors.
So did some Mopar vechicles.
BTW. you guys know that Bosch no longer manufacture those injectors. What's available presently is what's left from stock.
Don't fare hope is on the way.

Just got off the phone with Carey from gbreman. They're stock FORD Injectors that have been rebuilt. Said they're all flow tested and either meets or exceeds factory specs. He said they sell a ton of them to "racers" and come with a 7 year warranty.

The only thing that can be rebuilt on an injector would be to change the filters and have them cleaned. The real important part of the injector which would be the pintle and solenoid cannot be changed and guess what part goes bad.
You get what you pay for.
Just three weeks ago had a car to tune where two of the six injectors were bad from new. Good thing was that these were running richer instead of leaner.

Hello
did you find the injectors?
Am also looking for some injectors but not sure what size to use, learning as a go!
I was told to install 4 1,000cc, what you or the rest of the gang recommend?
Set up is a 12A freshly rebuild/street ported, other than that its all stock with EOM apex seals.
Turbo manifold with a T04 flange, size to be determine?? Help,
am in Colorado so the 7,000 altitude is a factor on the turbo selection, but I dont know!!!
I just want to build a peepy daily driver, 300HP+'s any suggestion?
Thanks,
Andres
sorry for the hijack!

Hello Allen
I got it out off his ebay auction about 4 months ago, it was $400.00 shipped.
I was hoping some customer service after the sale with some basic questions to get me going but he never replied to my emails.
In the auction he stated it was the last one and no longer was going to produce it.
Someone said he was going out of business, no sure.
I uses a Ford TB out of a 5.0. that's another question not sure what TB should I get for it, 70mm or 75mm!!
I hope you guys can help me so I don't keep buying stuff that wont work for me!!
Andres

70 and 75 seem a bit small to me. What brand TB? Not all 75mm throttle bodys flow the same.
Here is a good little read for you. I know it's for the boingers but still some good opinions.

I checked with Napa and nobody knows the flow rates of the injectors. I work as a tech at a Chrysler dealership and cannot find anything close to that big in any Chrysler vehicles.
What part# do I need to buy at Napa?

I still want more information on these injectors. I cannot find any information that shows ford used that size injectors in a Crown Vic. I went to the GB Reman website but cannot find where to order injectors.

If it comes down to it, I'll run them down to www.areadiesel.com to have them tested.
