I've got one of the Harbor Freight ones. Works quite well - blows all the crap off the plugs. I've never had known-fouled plugs (like from bad flooding) and tried to clean them in the doodad. But, I have run plugs that I've cleaned, and they work just fine.
I think it's well worth it - much cheaper than new plugs! Very easy to use, takes only a few seconds to clean a plug.

^^^ What he said, but more importantly...... Make sure you inspect the plugs after blasting them CAREFULLY. Bits of blasting media can get logged or stick in between the insulator and the plug body. When it heats up they release, and guess were they go? You don't want these highly abbrasive bits getting into your engine. SO if you use one of these plug blasters, blow it out really good with compressed air then follow up with a solvent before installing them in your engine.
