Yeah you read it right, I thought there was supposed to be one on the front stationary gear but (I just found this out an hour ago) there's not supposed to be one. With the Atkins kit, there was an o-ring supplied that looked like it was supposed to go on there so I put it on, because there's an engraving for one on the s.g. just like the rear..... Must be the reason why the rear s.g. o-ring was pinched so badly.

The endplay checked out fine, and within tolerances, I purchased spacers both thinner and thicker than the one that was already there and they both turned out to be out of spec. So the original spacer was the right one....

I'd say try it and see what happens. GT series turbos from Garrett are quality pieces. I've never had a problem with making decent power with GT series.(ofcourse with good tuning) 4094R sounds exceptional IMO.

Whelp, got her rebuilt for the second time... Started it and it did the exact same thing as before? I took the front stationary gear o-ring off thats not supposed to be there this time, and used the right stuff by permatex on all the housing legs. Must have a warped rotor housing....

Here is a pic of the location of where it is leaking. Keep in mind, this is not my motor I just searched real quick on the internet for a picture. I replaced both front and rear oil pressure regulators. The filler neck, oil cooler lines, front cover is NOT leaking. Just these two spots on the front rotor housing....? Any ideas

Figured it out, it was the oil supply line fitting that was leaking. I knew it was leaking but I didn't think it was leaking as much as it was. Problem solved as far as I can tell!!

I haven't got it on the street yet. Been waiting for some parts that have been on backorder and trying to fix little minor leaks. Things of that nature. But when I start it up and let it idle it sounds great! I originally bought the gt4094r kit from RX7store, and Jason sent me everything except for the turbo because they didn't have the right housing I wanted. I got tired of waiting so he said I can keep everything I have and just refund me for the turbo. I have a friend that is sponsered by precision turbos so I got a dual bb 6765 w/ 1.0 divided housing from my friend and everything else is from the RX7store.
