Anyone ever try propane injection?

I'm wondering if anyone ever tried propane injection. If so did you just buy a kit? Who did you get it from?

These are popular with diesels right? Anyone know of any rotaries with propane injection. What are the pros/cons over a nitrous system?

But is there ANYONE that has used propane injection with turbo rotary in high boost applications that can comment on it?

I've heard that while it does cool off the charge temps it dramatically increases your combustions temp/pressure which really would make it MORE detonation prone but I dont know if this is true or not.

Once again, Chris at Autonomic....

Not exactly what you are looking for, but one of the side lines that Chris at Autonomic (formerly Checkpoint) does is build 3 rotors for sand rails that run on propane with the Wolf 3D system. As I said, not exactly what you are looking for.....

There has to be a reason why "Nitrous" and "Water Injection" are more popular and more discussed than propane... there must be a drawback...
