Anit-Lag setup. How bad is it for the turbo
thinking about having the MS unit run an antilag setup, but that is not the topic at hand. What concerns me is people stating that the turbine wheel can be burned up from the combusion temperatures having essentially inside the turbo. But how bad is this really. And is there anything you can do to reduce the effects (treating the wheel?).
Experienced information please.

Yes, very bad.
Its very bad for the turbo. You retarding the timing a boat load and exploding raw fuel in the turbo. It can and will blow your turbo in no time. But if you race and your possibly sponsered by a turbo company, it works well.

Interesting read about "Bang Bang".
I have a somewhat related question...
When an engine produces flames on the de-accel either form just standard driving, or tweaking the PFC to shoot fireballs...
Does this harm the turbo at all?
If I had to guess, I would say any of these flames are residual, and not producing an actual explosion in the hotside turbine, so likely wouldn't be causing much damage. They would probably heat things up quite a bit though, and that can't be good...
Any thoughts? I love the flames, but I don't like the idea of cooking my Rx-6!
