[QUOTE=WaachBack;9853054]Id be looking at your tune and ohming out your coils if you were breaking up with only 350whp.QUOTE]

Yes you're exactly right the tune is skewed rich, due to a turbo rebuild, coils are fine though. But still was a good benchmark to see what worked and what didn't with a mixture rich rx-7. I would have loved to keep that little Twin power box and stock plugs cause it's such a clean install but it didn't work out.

Don't mean to sound stupid, but do any of you guys have a pic of your engine bay with the twin power installed. I bought one of ebay and it didn't come with any instructions. Have a plug and play harness. Just need a little help with install. Thanks in advance.

Thats what i would go for.

In saying that the next best unit in my opinion is the crane hi-6 units.

i spoke to dynatek a few days ago and im gonna go for one of there units i think, works out as Ł400 for the unit, harness kit and coil

would you run one dual coil and connect it to the leading plugs or run 2 single coils(1 to each)

Where do you guys recommend by the M&W cdi units? Are any of the forum vendors carrying these products?

I'm making right around 500 rwhp at 20 psi on my 500R setup with new stock oem coils, HKS Twinpower and NGK/Greddy Iridium 7420 Race Plugs, 10 heat range all around.

Zero problems.

DC12-1 is the dynatek part # for a pair of 0.5 ohm single output coils.

rx72c has used the dynatek for 620+ rwhp @ 25psi without problem.

ha ha

You need to buy rx72c the beer, he gave me the info on running the dynatek setup.

The universal harness also makes it simple to install.

Don't have pics. They have wiring diagrams in the manual which can be downloaded from their website.

I've installed mine in the glovebox.

Ok I have everything hooked up but I just want to check in with one of you on how I have it before I put power to it. There's one signal coming from the lt8s,I ran the to the blue/black then I split the blue/ between the signal post on the coils..and running both ground is that rite? Also for the setting on the arc how should I have them set running The dc12-1.. thanks ahead

I used the bracket from the airbag harness next to the ABS unit.
You want it in a cool place.
