Air to water intercooler?

I searched, and found a couple of threads here about air to water inertcoolers. And someone said that the air to water was less efficent than an air to air IC.

Also more expensive, but it seems like an air to water IC would give you a much better flowing intake path, and less pressure drop.

Also how much less efficent is the air to water (compared to an air to air)???

And the last question, would a 700 CFM air to water coor from spearco be enough for a 250-300 HP 13BT?

Thanks, Cory
