Question Aftermarket Ignition Coil

I have eliminated my problem down to a bad ignition coil. In the next year I plan on going with a single, something around to4e maby to4s, so my question is should I look in to replacing my ignition with aftermarket coils and other componets or are the stock coils just as good for staying somewhat mild. And I understand that I would need some sort of ignition box like the twin power or jacobs if I stayed with the stock coils. I was just wondering if it would be wise to upgrade the coils since I have to replace them anyway. Thanks for any assistance.
