On my 700rwhp rx7 i picked up around 50rwhp with one our honed our throttle bodies.

We house 3 55mm throttle body blades in the factory throttle body.

I just saw that billet one and that is an awesome piece of gear.

they would have me sold if they had a 120mm one.

The RW TB is a beautiful piece. I would definitely recommend it.

I'm not convinced that the factory FD throttlebody is particularly restrictive for normal/street power levels. I've seen plenty of 2nd gens making well over 400whp, and the 2nd gen throttlebody is smaller than the FD's.

I'd like to see some back to back dyno numbers between the two. I would think there is a huge difference between stock and ported UIM with RW TB on the FD.

I was just messing with a rotary works TB the other day. Unless I missed something, you only have one idle adjuster screw which sets the throttle plate angle when closed... I don't think there is an air adjusting screw on the bottom. There's also no fast idle system. It's a single blade TB so you don't have the two-stage design that is used on just about every rotary from the factory. It seems ok for a hardcore high hp setup but I still don't see the point on your typical 350-450rwhp car.

Have you tried contacting Rene Franco from Rotary works?

His number is (323)309-4375

He showed me one at his shop not to long ago, might be worth giving him a call and see if he has any in stock.

3x 55mm blades is only equivalent to a single blade 95mm TB, not even taking into account wall friction. Why would anyone need a 120mm?

Marco at ForceFed performance made nearly 900whp on a 13bt with stock S5 manifolds/unported S5 TB, just some food for thought...

One would think the ports would be a restriction well before the TB butterflies. If that is indeed true maybe we should switch to 4" intercooler plumbing, and aftermarket intake manifolds?
