I have had numerous issues with all intank pumps of the same nature. All of a sudden loosing pressure and not being able to keep up with volume. The root to all these problems was the shitty sock they come with collapsing and closing off the inlet. Replaced it with a stock turbo "box" looking sock and have yet to have a issue on any of the cars i've tuned, that I had prev thought had dead pumps on the dyno.

I am running dual 340's. plenty of fuel for my set up. I had one and around 460hp started running out of fuel, so the duals wired separately are working great now, and now i am able to run 540hp, with plenty of fuel.

Max Coopers fuel calculator shows the Stealth should be capable of 500whp. The boost is aproximate with a mid frame turbo such as a GT35R.

In-tank pumps have come a long way. But yeah, I wish they would catch up the Bosch's flow rate.

To install the 340lph onto the stock hanger do this:
1: unscrew the bottom holder piece that holds the stock pump in place
2: remove stock pump
3: take 340 out of the box and put in place
4: put the bottom holder piece back under the 340
5: attach the 340lph sock to the bottom of the pump, it has a push ring that holds it in place which holds it to the assembly (i should have taken pics of this part) but the bottom metal bracket piece wont go on if you put the sock onto the pump before putting it in place.
6: using a hacksaw or saw, cut off the stock outlet tube approx 1.5" above where the stock pump would go into it (its got that goofy gasket/bell assembly that a hose wont go over).
7: cut the supplied 340lph hose to fit and put it together with the supplied hose clamps
8: wire in the new connector accordingly

Sorry still unsure what you mean, i have attached a photo of my setup, as you can see the pump is offset away from the assembly by a fair bit and as mentioned the base doesn't fit either.
Any one got a photo of this setup.
Thanks.

Interesting about the submersible hose, my car is still in winter storage but it will be the first thing i check i already had a hose failure and thought it was standard hose versus efi hose.
Bosch pump btw
Also in regards to the sock- been using a jay racing sock, has a nice skeleton around it which prevents collapse. Running e85 with benol premix

Look at my picture attached on page 1, and someone else picture on page 3, or follow the instructions given above by boosted414. You can cut that metal tube much shorter and then use a gate submersible hose to connect the pump to the metal tube then that will allow you to get the pump next to the hanger.

Thanks Tom, i think i may opt to something similar to what you have done.
VRX8, you had any issues with using the OEM cable in the tank?

I have a 340 pump. Last year my first one died out on me. Very strange I was idling and then I wasn't. Guess I got a dud because it had only a few thousand miles on it.
The new one is fine, pretty quite actually. My mods are in my signature and I ran out of fuel at 20psi according to Steve K. I likely could have upped the fuel pressure, and tried to squeeze out a bit more but 20 pounds of boost was good enough. Also my intake temps were starting to get pretty toasty as well.
