850cc, 1300cc or 1600cc???

Going to a single turbo (T04S) and need some info on injectors. I guess there's been talk about the1300's failing. What's a good fuel setup for this turbo at 15-17 psi of boost. Which setups would run safe duty cycles? 850's + 850's, 550's +1300's, 850's + 1300's or is it worth it to go all out with a new secondary rail and new 1600's???

This will give you a good idea of where you need to be.
Thanks again Max

No problem guys.

I've been running 550 primaries and 1300 secondaries for a while in my car with the RX6 turbo. I'm in the process of installing a larger turbo, so I'm going to try 850 primaries and 1300 secondaries. I haven't had any trouble with my 1300s, but the reports of reliability problems does worry me a bit.

I might swap them out for a new rail and "1600"s (really ~1680s since they are 160 lbs/hr injectors) at some point. Using 1600s won't fit with an ACV (which is one reason I have resisted installing them), but my car would require lots of rework to pass emissions anyway, so I guess I don't care about the ACV anymore. The other issue with 1600s is that you have to run resistors (with most ECUs, including the PFC that I run). But overall, the 1600s should be more reliable and give you more fuel so it might be worth the switch.

I would suggest 550/1600. It's alot of work and mucho $$ but you get new injectors, an external regulator and a fuel pressure gage(typical)! Big plus is being able to adj your fuel pressure.

What pressure do you guys run at??? BTW - I came across this kit http://www.kgparts.com/newfuel.htm

Kit B.__ $580
Secondary Rails, 160lb injectors, FPR, Gauge, OEM primary rail adapter, all lines and fittings from secondary rail back to firewall included. All Kits include the following:

1. Injector clips
2. Mounting hardware
3. Resistors (if running an Apex PFC)
4. Shipping in the lower 48 States

Seem like a pretty good deal? What do you guys think?

You cannot go wrong with that. Try and find another place where you can get all that significantly cheaper.

I just purchased kit b. Except for the injectors because I already had those. It is awesome!!! I just installed it yesterday and it fits perfect. I had to modify my lower intake manifold to make the 1600ccs work, but other than that, cake. One thing I didn't mention in the link below is the fact that I ended up cutting the fitting on the ss fuel return line supplied with kit b, then I just put a small stainless steel clamp on it, and slid it on the stock hardpipe that runs over the motor. Definitely better than the cheeseball rubber oem line with a spring clamp. The quality on the rail, rail mounts and lines are phenomenal (trust me I know, I looked at them for days in my office before installing them) Also, one added bonus I don't think is mentioned on kgparts.com is the fact that the fpr that they send you is an ultra high quality aeromotive unit. Also the VDO fuel guage is a nice bonus. Oh yeah, it also comes with an adapter that allows you to run the fuel feed line coming off the primary rail (if you want to keep it, I am going to change that to braided also)
I say go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Heres what I wrote about the install

Just email the dude at kgparts. He will give you a good deal like he gave me. All you have to do is ask. Also, read up about his parts. Good price, good parts. And he accepts paypal, which worked out real well for me.

Uhhhhhh, I know, that's why I suggested it. It was a rhetorical question for him to try and find somewhere cheaper.
