829 whp on 30 psi!

Friend Robins new engine set up turned out very well on the Dynocom rollling road last week. With pump E85 and 9700 rpm@30 psi printout read 829 whp This is with a REW block stage 2 streetport and beweled rotors with a 27 mm semi PP port. Torque 655Nm@8100 rpm. Large BW 480 with 1.32 hotside is used. Low EGT temp of 770 celsius thanks to Snow water injection. Also to mention is Autronic SM-4 with MSD didgital 6 and MSD HVC 60kv coils for leading. Hopefully he will test the RX-7 FD on the dragstrip later in August. Gusfd3s has a tread on 3rd gen time slips and dyno section also.

Amazing numbers and great fabrication, slow clap....

How much water/water-meth are running? Timing? Sorry for the questions, but those are just incredible numbers for what looks to be a street car.

No meth only water, it's the snow inj system. The car sounds like an mc without exhaust. ;-)

Love the engine bay. Very nice job on the rotor's.

Has anyone done back to back on the side face(of the rotor) machining.

Robin plans to take the motor apart after he has testing it on the 1/4 mile. Then the 8:5 rotors shall be faced clearanced by gusfd3s We shall test some start technics on the street later today and test 2 step and maybe launch control if that needs 10.5x26x16 slicks is used, but we must do "insane" burnouts to make them sticky

Congrats!!! This has to be a record for a rotary on pump e85.

Have you gotten a chance to take her to the track yet?
