60-1bb or TO4s, which is a better kit

Should I get a 60-1 with the ball bearing option or the TO4s. Which is a better kit? faster spool up?

i believe the ball-bearing 60-1 would be the better bet. if i remember correctly, the to4s and 60-1 are very similar in all performance aspects. go for the ***** man!!!

do you have compressor maps for either of these? I've been looking and the only easy ones to find are the ones off of turbobygarrett.com (the GT series)

rotorbrain is correct in that the specs are similar. In fact, the only real difference is manufacturer name and the presence of ball bearings. I'm going with a 60-1 when Turbonetics gets them set out, but I did look around for prices from Innovative for dual ball bearing T-60-1's and it came out to about $1900 for the turbo alone. I don't think the difference is worth it, but if your stocks are high, get a ball bearing and enjoy the luxury of a slightly quicker spool. The T-60-1 can be had for less than $1000, so that extra performance factor does carry a ridiculous exponent to the ball bearig's price.

HKS T04S compressor blade is a 60-1 item that has more back spacing. Major and minor diameters are exactly the same.
