60-1 turbo swap (problems)

Hey guys well really first time posting in this section but neways was wondering mayb some of you guys can help me out i just did a swap

60-1 Turbnetics turbo the wastegate is not of quality some cheaper wastegate there forgot the name brand but ive had it on my old car and seemed to be working just fine.. anyways heres some of the symptons i have

before i did anything to the car running on stock turbo i had about 18 vacuum ive throw in the 60-1 with wastegate running open downpipe right now im at like 10 vacuum?? ive double checked all the vacuum lines nothing everything is in tact.. cant be bad motor as the car still starts up perfect as soon as i hit the key.

boosting problem i took it around the block spiked about 10 psi and the wastegate didnt open i double checked i had run the wastegate lines correct and i did is there any way to lower it i wanna run like 8 psi safely for i ran out of cash with this turbo setup and havent finished to get injectors

i do have tho walbro255lph and bosch FPR

and last but not least studdering car studders alot dont know if mayb could be running rich? but i played with the SAFC when i bring down the fuel it smoothes it out a little..

thats about it i appreciate any help

lol i know i do im not planning anything crazy right now i just wanna enjoy the car with 8 psi im not asking to go str8 to like 400hp the car needs ALOT of things i had gotten laid off a while ago looking for a new job so money lets just say isnt easy to get ahold of right now

What wastegate spring are you running ? if its a 10 psi one you wont be able to run lower than that.

I would first check what wastegate spring you have then see if its opening at the right psi or not.

Second SAFCs arent great for leaning out injectors as it advances timming a bit ( SAFCs trick the ECU in thinking its getting more or less air, this then advances or retards timming a bit ) , not saying its death, but not great, I would run richer in boost than leaning it out with the safc.


Now the Vaccum amount, Are you taking it from exactly the same position ? 18 inches of mercury at what RPM compared to 10 inches of mercury at what RPM ? .

Different RPMs with give you different vaccum readings.
