500whp....am i good to go?

i am planning on bringing my car down to pfs and getting a race gas tune. im happy with the 385whp at 14 psi for the street. but i want a little more when i bring it to the track. im just posting to see if all my supporting mods are good to go for 500+whp. heres the list

small/med. streetport
35r t3 1.06a/r
power fc
550/1600cc inj
supra pump
aeromotive fpr at 42psi at 0
hks twin power ign
10* plugs all around

im guessing somewhere around 25psi is where i would need to be for boost. please post if there is anything in my setup that is holding me back.

isnt the 35r going out of its efficiency range right there?

is the t3 getting in the way? even with a 1.06 housing? I think I've read on here people going back and forth about making around 480+ on .84 housings. what gives? are these guys using T4s, is that it?

Just going from your 14 psi numbers 500 seems a bit of a stretch...then again, you can get close enough.

Those injectors won't get you 500.

I would get 850cc primary's, do a large street port or halfbridge, and some race fuel. I also would get alky/water injection, i like the results i got with it.

I maxed (80's inj. duty) out with the 550/1600 at 19-20psi. 430rwhp on 40r and stock ports. I would also to be safe put on a boost-a-pump like Howard has talked about.

That supra pump will be completely maxed out at the 500 rwhp level. If you want some breathing room, I'd look into the Apexi BNR32/33 pump for a single pump setup. Or, go the twin supra pump route.

850/1600 should be enough to get you there

Those dyno charts are not for a 35R. They are on an old school HKS TO4R turbo(which I believe is quite a bit larger than a 35R). At least according to HKS' website. Also, those fuel injectors are fine for good power. A second pump however would be the way to go. Ask Ray, he'll tell you.

850cc primaries are def. enough to get you there. I have 750cc primaries and you can see in my sig. what my car makes.

a t04r is ~67mm comp inducer, a 35R is ~61.4mm, so there's a definite difference in power potential, esp at levels above 20 psi.

Just put a Kenne Belle Boost-a-Pump on your Supra TT pump. My friend runs that exact setup on his 600whp Vr-4. His pump maxed around 500 and then he put the thing on there and he's had no problems.

two problems with that though. A rotary requires more fuel than it's piston counter part and a piston motor makes more power with the same turbo.

I got the injectors from Ray. And they are mounted in my KG Parts primary rail. And yes, I got the pm. I guess I forgot to respond.
