500hp fuel filter?

hey so while replacing the wear and tear items on the track car i noticed that my fuel pump had almost pushed my golan fuel filter media through the -10 fuel line.
obviously this isn't going back into the car but what are you high hp guys running.

btw the filter lasted what i'm guessing is 5 track days before i started having troubles. with my particular problems i didn't think it would be fuel filter at all. i'm still not 100% sure this will fix my problems but i'm hoping.

i have a weldon A-1100 fuel pump pushing 520Liters per hour at 40psi. and the golan is rated for 900LPH with no pressure loss. (obviously not)

golan has 6.3 square inches of filter media, the aeromotive one has 60, so i was thinking of that as my next step. any other suggestions?

I use the 2 aeromotive filters with the A1000, -10 also. I'm sure you can send an e-mail to their tech and ask if your setup would still be ok.

i have a -10 aeromotive 100micron pre-pump and the -10 golan 10micron post-pump.
i'll get a picture of it when i get a chance. it's ballooned far enough out that the fuel was leaking around the sides of the no longer pleated filter.

the aeromotive just make more sense now. even if it get a little clogged it has 10x the media surface area.

the Aeromotive unit is by far the best ive seen, simple to take apart and clean if needed, and its very easy to mount.

I went with a Jegs 100micron before and was thinking of them(10micron) for after the pump also. I will also be running the a1100 Weldon. I got this one.
