4rotor BMW goes Single
The Queen St Smash Repairs and Mazsport Teams are set to ROCK the ET Racing Fuels Compak Attak on March 19th. The Queen St Quad Rotor Barbie BMW is ready to hit the track with a new single turbo set-up. The old twin turboed combo pushed the 4 rotor BMW to a 7.29 @ 191 mph in December. The new combo utilises a Single Turbonetics Thumper Turbo with a huge 107mm front wheel. With the new turbo the BMW has picked up 250 + HP at the flywheel says Bill Nabhan of Mazsport. You do the maths! The BMW has run 7.29 and now it has an extra 250 + HP! Will we see 6sec time slips at the Compak Attak QSR BMW

Looks sick...but how will it work? rpms would have to be really high for it to spool all the way won't it?

Id be interested to see. I would imagine that a four rotor could flow alot, but that much?!

any idea what kind of Horsepower #'s are we talking??

Funny thing is. this the first time, I've seen the ROTARY SWAP
going the other way.. which is too cool... 4 rotor monster.

That's the same size turbo alot of the pro Mustang guys use. You have to be making at least 1500-1600hp to even think of that turbo. I'm guessing this car is producing every bit of that.

With a 4 Rotor, I'd say so... but WHY !?? They couldn't find a BMW motor to make that kind of power !? And anybody else think that the spell check changed Cosmo to Combo !?

Edit: Nevermind, Cosmo's are 3 rotor, this is 4.... I'd like to know who makes their E-Shafts....
