4 port 13b and tII exhaust manifolds/turbo

Hey everyone. I have a 4 port 13b out of an rx-5. Now I saw a TII hooked up with a carb and it looked surprisingly close to my engine. Now my question is, can I put a tII exhaust manifold and turbo onto my current 13b? I hope so, this would make turboing my car a lot easier.

YES and NO. It will work if you make a spacer (approx. 3/4 - 1") and put it either between the engine and mani or mani and turbo (between mani and turbo is better and uses less material). Otherwise the turbo will hit your lower intake manifold.

here are pics of my buddy DCEE and what he did with his 89-91 stock turbo (actually not stock, has high flow comp and modded wastegate). But you can check out his spacer http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/390773/2

On high comp motors let alone standard turbo compression, boost creep is a problem. Make sure you port the HELL out of the wastegate.

awesome, I'll probably go the external wastegate route just for convenience. What do stock tIIs run boost wise anyway?
