Thanks for chiming in. I sold the bumper and picked up a different bumper. You will like it when you see the photos. The bumper was given to me by my friend who told me it was mazdaspeed oem. The replacement bumper fits the car well.

Thanks for the reading my post. The front mount looks tiny, but it is very misleading. The front mount cools like there is no tomarro. The change in termerature from the hot side to the cold side is night and day, The core is made up of 3 individual spearco tube and fin cores. The core is 9" thick, and no problem with heat soak. I be chilling.
I can say the deepest core we make was for the 797 and 793 Cat mining trucks; these were only 6" thick (and nearly 6' by 6' tall/wide with 6" V-band inlet/outlet.) Keep in mind these have a VERY low air-fin pitch due to clogging/debris/etc and the cooling air has far less restriction than automotive style coolers. Thus, with a high density air-fin (read: automotive air-fins), adding depth is even less effective than adding width/height.

I cut the air pump top bracket off with the waterjet, pluged the heater core feed and return bungs, then polished the hell out of it. I got the flange for the filler neck by cuting it off the factory mazda neck, then I weld a plate to the side where I cut off the original flange. Next I drilled a 1.5" hole into the plate and welded the 1.5" tubing to the flat plate on the flange.

I know I'm late regarding this post, but this is not as effective as you anticipate. Before deploying, I worked for a private company which designed and manufactured heat-exchangers (IC's, Rad's, Oil coolers, trans oil coolers, etc.) Our calculations, backed by air and water testing, shows increasing the 'depth' of a cooler is far less effective than increasing height and/or width. Essentially, after a certain depth (dependent on several factors) the core becomes too restrictive and increasing its depth beyond that point is not as effective. Law of diminishing returns, if you will Additionally, the cooling air increases in temperature (obviously)
and the delta-T from the charge air to cooling air becomes increasingly smaller as travels through the core. Thus, lowering its effectiveness.

"What beep?" I deleted the coolant level sensor because I have an autometer water temperature gauge and I'm also using Microtech LT10X stand alone ECU. Hence "the beep" is all gone.

It's been a while since I purchased some Brembo Jaguar XKR brakes. Today I finally got around to refinishing the. They were originally silver with lots of scratches. Today I painted them a textured black and baked them. These will be going on to the FD. I'm ordering the Stainless Steel Brembo Decals from ebay soon

I think I will do the prototype to work with the Nissan 370 Big Rotor for the front and back. I just have to get the center bored out to match the fd3s. Once I figure out how to make it work I will order a set of RB rotors.
Keep us posted, I'm very interested in this brake upgrade. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you're moving the stock FD fronts to the back and using the Jags up front. Also, how are you planning on fabbing your brackets?

I purchased the front and rear brakes from the jaguar s-type R. I will be using both front and rear Brembo brakes. I will also uses the jaguar Brembo rear parking brake caliper. I'm going to fabricate the brackets myself out of plexiglass then take them to the local machine shop to have them cnc machined in 7070 aluminum. I would like to sell the bracket in a group buy sometime next year.

We just put the final clear coat on the car. Car is coming together at molasses speeds.
Here is how she sit as of this morning. Trying to get it done for Christamas. And yes that's my daily driven 100% NA AUTO Platinum Silver Metallic SC300 that I will not discuss on rx-7 club. Just like my friend MOOSEJAW, I too have a Lexus and a FD.
