Question 3bar map sensor

I purchased the 3bar map sensor plug and play from banzai. When I plugged everything in and started the car, my boost display on the power fc wasn't registering anything just the lines like nothing was plugged in for that sensor (I switched back to stock map sensor right now). My question is do I need to callibrate the power fc before I can use it as plug and play? I'm getting tuned on the 19th, but I was just curious what was the deal? All imput would be greatly appreciated.

yes you need a datalogit to use the GM 3 bar sensor. Keep the stock sensor in until you go get tuned.
