35r downpipe option want opinions

Short and sweet:
Should I get this V-band option on my new 35R manifold and Downpipe? I'm still waiting for a price on
it from Sean. Would like your opinions.

Sean will be making my d-pipe and it will have 2 seperate v-bands troughout the d-pipe to allow ease of installation and flexibility..looks almost exactly like that but mine is for a 20B ... looks trick!

I like the look of that setup... with my v-band clamp it's a total pain to install because it's right at the turbo exit and space it tight in there. The heat blanket and manifold bolts get in the way. It almost makes it a 2 person job to bolt it up. With this setup it looks like you'd be able to bolt the first pipe to the turbo before you installed it. Probably save a few scraped knuckles this way.

Either way I'm sure it would be fine.

I would say yes! From what I know, it will help immensely (sp) during installation.

Very true

Exactly, with this setup you can mount the turbo and wastegate to the manifold and mount it all as one unit if you wanted, but as you said the main reason was so you could attach this to the turbo first to save alot of frustration.

Yeah I've noticed the access problems myself but figured I'd get your opinions as well as share with others who may not have known anything about this. Thanks for the input guys.
