I just got from a friend a T-78 with the 24cm turbine housing. I know the Greddy kit comes with the 17cm housing, I was just wondering if anyone on the forum has had any experience with this turbo. How much lag does it has compared to the 17cm? Also what would the 17cm and the 24cm housing be comparable to on a Garret turbo? Thanks

you better stop worrying about the lag of one of those 24cm T-78's because your going to need 2 of those babies to keep up with my twin 60-1 RX7. Like ari said, bring it on, BRING IT ON!

i have the 17cm one. i saw rxecret7 has the 24cm. i heard the difference will be the shaft is smaller and will spool a little faster .

 

So you're saying the 17 cm spools up quicker right? I'm going to try the turbo up this week, I'll let you guys know how it compares to the 17 cm turbine housing.
