13b rew single turbo return/drain line
13b rew single turbo return/drain line
Good afternoon everyone. I have searched high and low but I can't seem to figure out the return line for my car. I know the twins had a flange sticking out for the front turbo but I can't find an adapter for that flange to a -10an anywhere.
I was wondering what you guys were using for this. Did you cut the flange off and weld something on or is there some simple solution that I have overlooked? And yes I have searched.
Thanks in advance.

There are adapters available that will bolt to the flange on the little pipe that sticks out.
I am currently working on upgrading to a single with a kit from A-Spec that included one of these adapters. When I fitted it up, I felt like it was to much "rigging" for the application and instead got a -10 weld-on adapter from summit, cut the pipe back as far as I could giving the clearance to the front cover bolt, and welded the -10 adapter to the pipe.
This resulted in a much neater job.
I also considered cutting the nipple on the supplied adapter off about half way and extending it about an inch by welding in a piece of aluminum tubing. this would allow the adapter to be bolted directly to the engine and for the fitting to clear the aforementioned front cover bolt.
Now I plan on using the flange adapter to fabricate a piece to make an extra breather that will go to the old rear drain and connect it to the stock breather.
I'm sure others will chime in with other variations on how this can be done.
