He is also not running a 66mm compressor wheel on a stock port.

On race cars yes, but on a street car with stock ports? I think the boriquas and aussies have more sense than that

Yeah I'll send it back....... can anyone tell me what the A/R on the compressor is supposed to be on the T-66 , it has .55 stamped on it and the wheel is equivalent to that of a T-70 in inducer / exducer size(Turbonetics catalog)

the .55 os the Tseries compressor housing. Thats correct for the turbo. Are you using the 70mm wheel or the 66mm wheel? The 1.32 will be kinda agravating on a street car. I mad this same mistake with my TS04. It sucked and eventually it got swapped with a .84 A/R Prtim. Good luck. Definately get what you pay for.

The turbine wheel is a P trim 11 blade unit but i'm not sure about weather it is 70 or 75 mm, the guy is sending me a new 1.15 A/R housing tomorrow , but what about the compressor wheel ? ,it definately isn't a T 66 wheel according to the Turbonetics catalog , it's more like a T-70 !!

nice, but arent you still on the stock port? Ithough I saw you say before that you were keeping the stock side ports. Go smaller on the exhaust side. With stock port that 66 is going to be harder to move. .84 ,.96 or 1.00 would be good. with the .84 you can get decent spool up.

I will leave it on for now and yes my ports are stock for now , my engine is now doing 70k and works great so I dont want to touch it unless I have to,but I also run a light chromolly flywheel from JUN ,I think i'ts 10.5lbs, and I am using a totally devided manifold/housing combination with all the other free flow stuff , so I am hoping all this would minimize the lag ? .

it's another classic example of a TOO big compressor hindering spool up times. if you want to run 25+psi all fine and dandy to run such a large compressor but with a larger compressor comes increased lag.

I'm right next to P.R. and I dont think those guys run that big of a turbine housing, they like the small ones.

I have a 1-08 a/r on my 60-1, will that pruduce to much lag for street and strip use?

Question

My turbo supplier decided to compensate me for our problems ,so he decided to give me two additional turbine housings ,so that's three in total......... a 1.32 , 1.15 and 1.0 all divided , how dou think the 1.0 will work ?

Yeah , my manifold is devided but I will only port when I "pull down " for an engine job , which doesnt seem very soon (I've been kicking some *** running on one rotor, unknown to my the L1 plug wire popped off!!!).
