Speaking of revolutionary turbos..when is that electronically assisted no lag turbo supposed to hit the markets? I think Garrett is the company developing it..
Just to jump in and mix it up a bit, I'm pretty much in full boost by 3200rpms also. Running 380rwhp on pump gas with the RX6.

With larger primaries and 3 more lbs. of boost I'd be knocking on 400rwhp I believe.

However, if I had to go back and do it again (35/40 wasn't really known - to me anyway - at the time of my research, late 2001) I'd strongly consider the 35/40.

That being said the RX6 is a very fast spooling, powerful and linear piece for me. I'm extremely happy with it and it's perfect for my applications.

Maybe I should just get a GT3540 and put a T51R KAI on the automatic supra.
Man, if that's the case you should set the 7 up for road racing or autocross and set the Supra up for drag. I would work on the 7 suspension, brakes, wheels chassis, and buy traction control, stand alone, insane fuel, fuel resevoir or racing cell etc.. and throw on a nice quick spooling turbo like the 35/40.
Now on the Supra I would build it up for a Huge t-88, t-51 etc, use antilag, flare the rears for some 12 inch rims and perform all the necesary mods that go with the turbo. That's what I would do if I had an RX-7 and a Supra to toy with. Good luck.
