T'ed into the oil pressure gauge feed wire, it smooths the gauge motion, I have tested with and without, and am unable to tell the difference.

That's a capacitor, normally it sit around your distributor for smoothing out the ignition spikes out.

That's a capacitor that suppresses radio interference from the electrical systems so you don't get buzzing in your radio. It sits on top of the engine behind the rat's nest just in front of the fire wall.

If you look carefully you can see it on the right side of this photo (85 GSL)

An -se makes it an 84 or 85. From the FSM we get this:




The one for ignition smoothing is usually right at the dizzy IIRC
