Smile My gxl Project (pics)

Since I have a thread on my 10ae, I thought my first rx7 could have one also. Last summer I traded my gxl for a gixxer 600. About a week ago the kid who traded me offered me to buy back my 7. So now, I once again own her. The gxl was the first rx7 I had. I bought it when I was in 9th grade, now im a senior in high school. The car was in 9/10 condition when I bought it from a car dealer. Its hard to explain the feelings you have for a car...lol. Me and her have been through alot, and she deserves to get a make over. The first pictures are kinda what it looked like after I bought it. Im in the process of swapping the full interior from maroon to grey. The gxl also doesnt have a engine in it. Thanks to a donor gxl from PA, she will. I will redo the interior, suspension, engine+tranny installation, along with tons of other upgrades and repaint the body once its all done. I will keep you guys posted with plenty of pics.

What she looked like the first week

About a year or so later

What it looks like now

That color with the S5 tails and the black trim looks awesome, even though i don't really like that color.

I'm looking for a red dash for one of my cars, yours appears to be in great shape. Any interest in selling it?

driver and passenger side access panel's (by the sides of the stereo)
the passenger side seat pull lever
idiot light trim (warning light cover)
passenger side visor
rear speaker covers

I'll PM you about it also if you've got any of those in good shape :-)

The car looks great, could you get us some engine bay shots?

Are you running the stock Turbo ECU?

Do you still have any interior pieces available? I would like to buy the demister vents (drivers and passengers) and the plastic trim piece from around the clock.
