Nikki jet change wtthout removing carb?
I just rebuilt the carb so I should remember this but I don't remember what I ate for breakfast anymore!
Can U remove the top secton of the nikki without removing the carb? I'm trying to change out jets without removing the whole thing again. Is this a lost cause?
Thanks

yes you can, if you are crafty you can even change the jets without removing the top of the carb
. but its easier to just remove the top. take all the top plate bolts out and the center bolt and your good to go.

Remove the sight glass windows, loosen jets with a screwdriver but don't remove them yet, insert a wooden toothpick into the jet and remove it that way. Replacement is the same procedure in reverse.

Tooth pick thing worked awesome on the forward jet. I managed to drop the seal/washer behind the jet on the aft jet in the bowl.
So I took the whole top of the carb off... It was a pain but I did it all w/o removing the carb. From the intake.
Thanks!
