Dyno Tuned RX

Ya... so went down to BG and dynoed at Horsepower House and was tuned by Jacob Cartmill himself. Here's the dyno results. We could of squeezed more out but ran out of time because I believe spark plugs on rotaries should last more than 4 months.

Forgive cell phone picture quality. I'll scan it later tonight so it's clearer.

3/3/07 11:25:19a Run Conditions: 65.66F, 29.46 in-Hg, Humidity: 14%, SAE: 0.98
Max Power = 229.37 Max Torque = 226.54

13psi
i think 16* advance 11* split
30 minutes of tuning
we were trying for 250whp@15psi, but ran out of dyno time.
their wideband was reading 1 point leaner than my PLX (which is in the downpipe) so thats what i was reading off of. the graph says it got up to ~12.5:1 at one point, but the leanest it got was ~11.5:1

Stock S5 Turbo
Full RB Exhaust
Stock TMIC

Reason why I asked was because I'm running around 15-16 of timing with about a -4* timing on trailing while running 110 Sunco in my FD, at that boost. While its conservative for me, I was just curious what other people where running. CJ

4* split is pretty aggressive, but you're on racegas so i'm sure its fine.

No, I meant -4 timing. So the split would be like around 19 degrees. I've thought about putting some more trailing timing into it, but don't realy know how much is safe. CJ

Actually, I'm running about 15psi. I thought he too was....but after re-reading it, I notice that he's only running 13.

I have 11* split at 13psi and when I up the boost the next time I tune I'll probably have the split at 12* for 15psi. Stock is 15*, you should lower that atleast to 15* and see the difference. I'm just running 93 octane with premix, nothing special.

Falls off pretty fast for a streetport. How much boost did it hold at 7k?

Bingo. About 7psi at 7k I'd say, possibly less.
