Update Coming Soon:

Installing my autopower competition roll bar soon. Autopower made it an even exchange for my installed bolt in roll cage given that it was already drilled to installed (it didn't fit: see below). They were really cool about this, and gave me free shipping for the roll bar. Might remove the rear sound deadening and paint the rear hatch area in truck bed lining before installing, any suggestions?

I would recommend not getting the full autopower bolt-in cage because the front a pillar sections don't really fit our cars. There is no head room, you have to drive with your head to the side. And that's IF you can fit a seat in there. Apparently only the sparco kids seats, kirkey racing seats and stock seats work.

In hindsight, if you want a full cage, go welded.

Yep, surprised me too. It scared the **** out of me for the first few seconds until I found out it came out of that thing.

I can post a pic of the new setup as soon as the hose ends come in and I get it on the car.

Yeah, please do. It's odd to be getting that much blow by when you have it ventilated like that.

The track videos always seem slower than it actually is. But in your case it still looks scary as hell. Also, that's really cool how you have an external one mounted outside too. I didn't even see that you had that one mounted too. Really awesome!!!!

I got bored so I went to fit the filler neck and get some shots. The new hose ends should arive this week from Earl's.

I wanted a bigger gap between the filler cap and intercooler hose, but it is realy hard to weld on a small bit of a bend pipe in straight line to another. But with a minor adjustment it is sufficent enough to get it unscrewed.

What I used first (braided line)

What I will be using

Update:

Autopower rollbar is installed. No pictures yet because it got too dark.

Fixed some some mounting points for my cluster surround using JB weld and some scrap aluminum I had laying around. Cluster holds in real nice now.

Also, I cut a small piece of alumnium that was just big enough to wedge into this turn signal piece forever so that it can stay in place with the screw in. (I know this breaks alot on our cars, I haven't seen too many that don't have this piece broken lol)

Update: Got my shine center divider and side vortex generators installed. Took off all the tire marks on my car with goo gone.

Will be hitting up the track on the 7th @ big willow.

Had a photoshoot last weekend with my brother and some local friends.

Enjoy!

Thanks haha!

Update: Bought some Shine FC2K sideskirts after destroying one of my extreme dimensions shitty GP sideskirts at Big Willow.

Unsure of whether I want to paint it or wrap it.

Update:

Installed Shine Auto RE-Amemiya Sideskirts. Got them wrapped in Avery white. Left the bottom section black.

The sideskirts would have fit perfectly. One of my fenders is all jacked up when my ball joint let loose at the track in Jan, so I had to do my best to make it work on the passenger side.

Went to the MotorMassive GTA x 86 Fest event to run Global Time Attack. Lots of really fast cars out there. Apparently my wing and no door panels classed me in limited. (Gonna have to find a stock door panel for my manual windows and find a suitable wing to put me in street because the wing is above the roofline and sticks out too far back)

I ran into some heat issues that caused my engine to go into engine protection several times. I think my wideband controller is getting too hot due to the turbo because it's coming on and off from looking at the datalog.

I pressurized the surgetank thanks to a small adjustable clamp. My pump is now quieter and doesn't sound like its having cavitation problems.

My plans next are
•remove sound deadening
•insulate the interior with Reflectix
•Throw a thermotec exhaust blanket over the exhaust
•5 point harness
•thermosleeve for wideband wires

Here's a few pics of my car from GTA x 86 Fest Courtesy of SNAPS Studio.

Here is how I mounted my submarine harness for my 5th point. For me it is in the right spot, and works well. Sorry I could not make it out there last weekend. I'll be out in September through the fall.

Long Update!

Quick update since I haven't posted in a while.

I was able to hit sevenstock last nov, but was unable to make this years due to a blown engine.
I blew my engine last April due to a hose going from wg to mac valve being burnt up causing me to overboost to 19 PSI (car is tuned for 12)

Plans for the new setup would be the same other than a big street port and a GT35R with billet wheel. Engine is almost done (should have it this weekend) and Turbo is being rebuilt at comp turbo.

In the mean time, I got my hands full fixing, installing and cleaning.

To start off, I got my wing installed by a shop that's no longer in business. It wasn't really installed that well and started to rust up my car.
I took it off, sanded off all the rust, layed down some coats of primer and installed rubber gaskets courtesy of home depot. Now I can be worry free about rust!

Next I installed my 5 point harness and removed my 4 pt harness. Got these harnesses off my buddy and owner of ronin speedworks Joel. All though they are expired, I don't plan on doing any competition events anytime soon so these will suffice Thanks Ashley for the suggestion on mounting location, it really helped!

I then cleaned up my LIM by removing all the grease. It was hard to do with just solvent, so I used a wire wheel on a drill. Then I applied reflectix all over the LIM.

Did some more cleaning by removing the TMIC bracket off the oil neck and then removing the grime. I thought the oil necks were black, but that was all oil that came off.. Can anyone confirm that the stock t2 oil neck came black? Looks really cool with it being all clean!

Also removed my stock oil mounting location (that bar where the horns mount and where the oil cooler mounts).

I have a vmount setup, and that bar is really in the way for air flow. Will also have to make some ducting out of some sheets of aluminum when the engine goes in! I really should remove a bunch of those stock wires in the engine bay too lol.

This weekend was also sevenstock!
