Working on the RHD Deadpedal based on mr.baghadev's advise. My question is what do you guys think about the circled corner. It doesnt match the other corners but if I put a large radius on it you will be able to see the deadpedal behind it.





Here is some detail showing how the screws are countersunk.

 

I don't have a RHD... but that's a fine improvement over the OEM. I'd do that no questions asked.

 

It follows the original piece's design so I think the sharp corner is okay in this instance. A rounded corner wouldn't look as "flush" to the transmission tunnel anyhow.

 

cool! I just realized I only have 4 rhd guys interested so far so I will call this good unleas I hear any different. I machined a wide gas pedal today but I had been at work for 12 hours when it finally finished so I did not sandblast or bend it yet. Tomorrow I will have some pictures of a curved, blasted wide pedal, and maybe an updated LHD dead pedal. I am going to have to change the overall shape of the dead pedal in order to make the circles closer together like the other pedals (my current design tapers down from the top, but I think I can make something work if part of the deadpedal has a slight overhang).

I'm not asking him to brake his bank by giving us the pedals... My comment was a suggestion for him to take into consideration for a package deal as some people may only one or the other. Coming up with a price plan and package deal is totally up to him. Just throwing out some ideas here folks

 

Hey guys, had a few setbacks with the LHD dead pedal last week which is why there havent been updates. First attempt I accidentally ran the program for the RHD dead pedal so I have an extra one of those now... next attemp a drill bit got dull, bound up and snapped inside the aluminum. I wasnt able to get the piece out and cant drill through it since its hardened so another scrap piece... yesterday I almost succeded in making a lhd pedal but ran the mill a little too fast and snapped another endmill. Hopefully tuesday I will complete the part and all prototypes will be complete.

I do plan on offering a discount if you get 2 or 3 pedals, more to come soon!
