I need a pic of how the stock single oil cooler lines are supposed to be run.
As long as we have had the car the line is routed in a manner that causes it to kink.

But the problem is the exact route the line follows causes the rubber line to kink badly enough that it failed once already.

I think that the oil cooler might not be in the exact spot that it should be. Possibly too close too the passenger side of the car.

A picture showing the oil cooler mounted correctly would help a lot.

 

It is hard to get a good picture but this is the line that is kinked. ( upper line where it turns 90 degrees)

 

if that cooler hose is one for the front cover you might have the wrong one. the one from the r1(duel oil cooler is about 6 inches longer)and the single oil cooler is shorter. got one if needed.
