He told me that the pink red thing goes underneath the subframe. And he also install the bolt up through instead of down through. I think that's what he said

You have it backwards. The red bushing goes under the subframe. The bolt can go either way.

Mine are installed bolts up from the bottom. There's room even on the passenger side under the heat shield (yours is missing)

Do these use the same bolt torque as OEM.. with the red bushing there compressing under torque.

Polyurethane Motor Mounts | IRPerformance

Here's a couple pics, maybe it'll help to see the way they're oriented. I noticed there's no heat shield on theirs (goodfellas) either though and it says MUST have heat shield on their motor mount page. Hmm..
Not sure about the torque numbers. I'm about to put my IRP street mounts in and kinda am wondering the same thing.

FYI , GoodfellaFD3S (Rich) is no longer affiliated with IRP.

I'm not sure since there was no instruction , I'm installing the bolts upwards and using a locking nut to secure it. since if it becomes unscrewed while I'm driving it can be quite dangerous lol

If you use an all-metal locknut, that should work. Nyloc nuts can loosen with heat.

However, if you really want to be sure it can't come loose, double-nut or Loctite it.

I am currently the sole owner/ceo of IR Performance so please forward any questions or inquiries to me.

Tighten the lock nut until the red bushing just starts to compress. They don't have to be super tight. I've had no issues with them loosening and there shouldn't be much heat in that area. You can adjust the stiffness of the mounts by making them slightly tighter or looser.

Yes you really need to run a heat shield or the heat from the downpipe can degrade both the stock or my poly mounts.
