M2 Rollbar: Rear Strut Cap Hole Cutting?

For those that have installed a M2/Race Shop roll bar, how did you go about cutting the hole for the rear legs to pass through the plastic trim caps on top of the struts?



Trying to figure out a good way to line up the hole and only cutting once...

Thanks, that is definitely the most comprehensive thread probably ever to be on the roll bar. From reading it, sounds like the cut in the trim was just eyeballed... not too confident about that... good enough I suppose, I'll give it a shot.

When the bar was purchased new it was supposed to come with a paper template you could use to mark and drill the hole. I never was able to get a copy of the template though
