I haven't been on the forum for awhile since I sold my FD, but I used to set up the tuning sessions for San Jose with Steve. So I saw the other thread and seeing that there's plenty of people interested, I'll try to set up another session with Steve and get him out here to tune your ride.

These are the prices that Steve will be charging:

$400 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$500 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$650 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

We'll need a minimum of 5 cars confirmed with a paid deposit of 200.00 up front, once all deposits are collected, Steve will then need at least 3 weeks to book his flight. Sooner the better, as we are in the middle of June now, so if we can get all deposit in, we'll look at end of July or beginning of August
Tech 3 for the dyno shop. I'll get pricing soon for the dyno.

So my transmission just went today. So hopefully I can't replace it before we set a date. Wish me luck.

Coming close to July now, so to make this happen we'll need 2 more cars.

Spoke with the dyno shop and they said, if it's only 5 cars, they'll keep the shop open after hours on Sat to tune a few cars that evening and night, then the rest Sunday. Depending on a total of how many cars we finalize, then they can give me a group rate.

So for the guys expressing interested or needing a tune. This is your opportunity to get it done.

 

I'm installing sequential BNRs for a pump gas tune, but could only do it if the dates are in August.

 

July is quickly here, so to collect deposits from everyone, and to finalize things with Steve, August is looking to be more ideal. So are you in with us? if so, then we'll need one more car. Plus that will give everyone more time to prep their car for the tune.

 

Yes, I am in. If it comes to picking a weekend, Aug 13-14 would be perfect.

I forgot to mention the car has a PowerFC with datalogit and wideband installed. Steve has seen it before, although it was a while ago.

I'm going to be very, very hard to reach in July so ask any questions/collect deposits now please. If you can't get hold of me please assume I am in. If I don't show up I'll pay for the slot anyway.

Once a date is locked in for S. Kan, I can commit with deposit as long as I am in town that weekend.

You guys needed a date, so the tune date is set for the weekend of Sept 10th & 11th.

Steve needs about 3 weeks to work out logistics and travel. I'm going to keep this open until Aug 15th. So if we can get 5 cars or more confirmed with paid deposit, then we'll move forward, if not, then we'll have to cancel and I'll refund the deposits.
