NC Preping a race car

I recently bought an 87 rx7 NA. I bought it to race but i am new to the rotary scene so I have a few questions. Most i have already figured out by searching. My main question is this:

What is absolutely necessary for this car to run? I want to rip out anything I dont need.

I have downloaded an awesome shop manual for this car and i have been tinkering with it the past few days but I still need some help.

All the car needs to run is:

-ECU
-CAS
-Coils
-ECT, IAT, AFM
-TPS
-Boost sensor
-Injectors
-Fuel pump

That is assuming all emissions holes and components are blocked off and removed.

Check the rules for the race series you intend to race in. they often state what you can and can't remove also.
