Here is some pictures of wheels under the car. Comes a bit out, but not much. I will roll up fender lips and strech fenders out a bit. I believe that they will fit just perfect.

I don't think there's any way in hell those are going to work with the stock fenders, no matter what you do to them, but good luck.

 

Do my eyes deceive me, i.e., are the valve stems mounted just off the center line of these wheels?

ooooo post picks when you stretch the fenders. JT-imports had a body shop do that to his car and it looks great. But I still don't know if it will fit. Just remember you don't even have tires mounted yet so expect it to stick out another .5" more at least.

 

Yep, 295-30s on 18x11s +48 offset. Those damn 911GT3s are equipped with the same, so I thought I'd take a stab at it. You can also get a 305-30 Hoosier on there for track days. Must have tubular trailing arms, no fender lips (not even sure you can roll them for this fitment as the inner fender causes binding at such a severe angle) , and 2.5" springs. Rear only of course

I anticipated an argument or two, but I doubt any good will come out of discussions that are a matter of of taste. Now, if you want to argue performance benefits...I remain skeptical (other than pure drag racing), particularly when using big flares and a much wider rear track on the rear only.

You seriously got some attitudinal issues to work over. Just to let you know that every part isn't bolt on, and that works just fine. It's even positive that guys like you just buy those parts that you can fit to your car with white shirt on and not getting any grease to your hands. That makes it more valuable to us to built something more spectacular which you can trash when you see it on the cover of some performance maganzine

But anyways, happy mileage with you bone-stocker. I'm sure it works more than fine with your needs

I would say the same about you. I have given you good advice in this thread and you didn't listen to it. That's fine, it's a free country (sort-of).

As for the not getting grease on my white shirt, that's a pretty lame-*** statement. Trying to insult someone for buying parts that are actually PROPER for the car instead of mangling the fenders just to fit some average width tires comes off as pretty damn dumb. I also couldn't care less about any magazine that would put your car on the front cover.

My car isn't stock -- the exception is all of my mods are actually functional and improve the performance of the car. And if you don't think you get greasy installing an aftermarket oil cooler kit, I've got news for you...

Drift, your orginal post was to ask for correct offsets for your Buddy Clubs wheels. And even after alot of patient and nice post about correct fitments, you didn't seem to comprehend the advice. Looking from the outside and reading the post by Rynberg, I don't think he has been inappropriate at all. He took time to post to help you to save you some headache as you requested "proper ET's" as you stated. If you knew you were going to put fender flares or stretch your fenders you should have just stated that and saved yourself from posting this thread

Gene, is the 11 inch width from lip edge to lip edge, or bead seat to bead seat? Do you know what your camber is set to in the rear? Sweet shot from the rear!

 

Bead to bead. The overall width would be about an inch wider. The end result looks a lot like this, I'm sure. (Kevin Wyum's car with Hoosier P315s on 17x11s, IIRC) With 19s, there should be a little more clearance to the trailing arm, but note that Kevin had to move the trailing arm even father inboard than normal to clear his 17s.

Yes, bead to bead. A little more clearance than Kevins due to the 18" wheel. I'd say there's about 3/8 to 1/2" between the tubular trailing arm and the tire.

Not even close. A 9.5 +40 wheel will be nominally 11mm farther in from the fender than those 11" +48 wheels....

 

^^ 11mm that's close to 1/2 inch. I can live with that
