Turbosource WTH

Is turboblown and turbosource the same? I ordered something from turbosource on the 1st, got the receipt email but that was it. Waited until this week to email them and nothing back. Called yesterday and they took my order number and said they would call back because they were with another customer.... Nothing back... Almost 2 weeks later now. Good thing I wasn't waiting on the part...

I feel your frustration, and not to excuse not calling you back, but you're not dealing with Amazon here.

I don't know what you ordered - but most parts are made to order in a JIT (just in time) manufacturing environment. These cars and parts aren't in high enough in demand (or profit) to justify inventory on the shelf. So playing the waiting game might just be the reality. Not to mention, it's THE busiest time of the year.

That said, Turbosource/Turblown *is* an asset to the community and I know they won't leave you hanging. If they don't call you back after two weeks, the reality is, the post-it note got misplaced or they simply forgot. Another call will usually rekindle the fire.

Good luck.

It makes me sad to see posts like this about our vendors. The truth of the matter is this happens with any business, in any line of work. There's just not forums dedicated to insurance companies and body shops

We should be happy these vendors are so busy! It keeps them in business and it keeps our cars going.

Yea I had to finally find them through facebook and left a post on friday. Was told it was probably misplaced in a pending status and will have to wait until monday to find out.... I feel like a water injection kit wouldn't be super specific but maybe it is...

Derek,

This has shipped and will be at your place Wednesday. I was short handed when you called. I don't normally answer phone calls as I am too busy welding/dyno tuning etc. I literally was on the other line as I mentioned when you called, and another customer pulled up to pickup his FD. We missed 16 calls that same day, and I had to ship 10K+ in orders the following day by myself. I do have another guy lined up to work full time for phones/tech/shipping orders and that is the real fix here.

Sorry for the delay!

Glad to see the business is really taking off Elliott, and glad it all worked out in the end
