his link was to rx7.com but he called it rx7 store.com, which isnt rx7store.net, or at least as far as I know.

There's no such thing as rx7store.com, so I was assuming he meant rx7store.net, which is also what everyone else was assuming. rx7store.net has an iffy reputation with taking forever to ship and sending broken parts, but I think that's mostly Jason's employees and distributors.

Personally I am not a fan of rx7store.net. I spent a lot of money on products from them over the winter and got mediocre service, plus shipping seemed to take forever. Everything arrived as it was supposed to, and was packaged safely... It just took a forever and required a large amount of effort from my end. Myself, I don't plan on ordering from them again, though they *do* have a large variety of products available, it's just not a hassle I want to deal with.
My suggestions: CALL TO ORDER! DO NOT rely on ordering through their website, be proactive with regards to your order shipments.
As others have said, shipping time is the main downside. Jason is a nice guy when you get him on the phone, however using them can get quite frustrating if you are trying to operate on a tight schedule.
I agree with SLOASFK about Chris and Ari, they are great to deal with (I called them, from England, with my car on the dyno to ask them a question about making my GM 3-bar MAP Sensor work with my PFC. They dropped what they were doing to speak with my tuner, sorting it out. I really wanted to call them back to thank them but my phone card ran out afterwards.) and are very efficient with their business practices/shipping time! Again, if using them it's better to call in, that way you know exactly what is in stock and what they have which isn't listed on the website.

It all depends on what you order from me. If its a large order then yes its going to take time as Im sure I have to get items in here before I ship them since this is an international order.
Like I have posted before, I stock 50% of the stuff I carry. I do this to keep prices down, but some items may take longer to ship depending on if I have it or its being drop shipped.
I have the money to stock everything I sell but I would have to raise my prices a lot to do that. I dont want to do that. The guys at RX7.com are good people but the fact is I sell double what they do in a year with very few complaints and that is with keeping my prices low.
Oh yea, just do a twin power and I do have 15 in stock

Ordered online from rx7store.net and after 6 days they decided to email me and tell me that the part wasn't in stock and it would take 5 days to get it in. So I decided to go ahead since the order was already placed.
After waiting another 15 days, I checked online and my order was still under "processing".
I emailed them and asked what was going on.
The reply was
"Hi,
we shipped it a couple days ago."
So if what he said was true then it took him 10 days (give or take a couple days) to actually ship the product out.
Now it is a TOTAL of 25 days from the original order placed, I still have not received my order.
Moral of the story, if you don't mind waiting a while or bugging them a lot, then do not order from rx7store.
I will edit this to say the condition of the parts when they arrive as well.
The good is that the prices are def. good!

I think part of the problem is the internet. People if you are too shy to pick up a phone you will get bad service 90% of the time. If you need something in a rush you should check if it is in stock, if you don't do that it is your problem.
I have been well served in the past by Jason on the only order I placed there. I have also been well served by Ari's team stuff arrived to Canada within 48 hours.
From my experience buying all sorts of parts from all sorts of places Shipping speed = price. The more ridiculously low the price the more of a headache it is to get it and the longer it takes.

I have been having trouble with some distributers not shipping stuff on time. Im slowly weeding out the ones that arent reliable.

I ordered a datalogit from rx7store.net, I had emailed Ari to make sure it was in stock before paying. He responded they were out of stock and about a week later sent an email telling me to place my order. Datalogit delivered 2 days after placing order.
Can't be that.

What was the part you ordered so I know what the delay is? If an order is placed online I typically send an email 24-48 hours letting the customer know if its on backorder or out of stock.

Received the header a few days ago. I was not told the brake pads where out of stock, just that they where have "issues" with the distributor. And I had the choice of waiting even longer, receiving a refund or trading them for Hawk brake pads.
If I order ever again from there I will prolly go through you. Because it took a week to tell me that the Header wasn't in stock
