I'm so tired of this BS forum. Thankfully disneyland is the new place where you don't have to worry about this.

It's still rediculous that we can't share this information on this forum without getting it deleted. The last thing Ray needs if hundreds of phone calls asking prices on things.

Yep... Ironic that Mazda isn't allowed to sell parts on an RX-7 forum...wait, did I say ironic? I meant pathetic.

On a side note, Ray called me today. Apparently I bought some parts a month ago and asked him to hold off on shipping them. I guess I was waiting to purchase some more parts and wanted it all shipped at once, then forgot. Just another example of their shining customer service.

Technically Ray is not posting an advertisement. We the people who he helps on a daily basis are all the PR he needs. Yes it does suck *** that this place has taken a 4th reicht turn for the worse, but much like everything else in this country it is being driven by the almighty dollar ( I.E. How much $$ they can suck out of vendors and users. But oh well it WILL bite them in their ***. And Ray will never loose business because of this BS here. he is far to well known for the forum ****'s to affect him.

With that everyone needs to go to disney and start the "real" community over again without the political BS.

Here is your thread Rich. Seems they don't like march sales since ALL the other past sales post are still in database. Whatever ****.!!

Agreed. Who made this decision? Ray @ Malloy is a huge benefit to the FD community, particularly given the poor knowledge and higher than MSRP prices of pretty much all OEM Mazda parts sellers. He is not competing with anyone.

There is also an increase in bizarre moderator behaviour in the classifieds section. The thread with the dreamer dude asking $75k for his FD has been cleaned up somewhere between 7-10 times in the last month (The deleted posts included a lot of useful market advice from several board members who sell these cars by the bucketload.) Who are the moderators trying to protect? The single seller asking 3x the market value for his car? Who does this benefit? Surely the moderators have better things to do?

Maybe Ray should make a RX7 specials page on the malloymazda.com website? I guarantee you everyone who has bought from Ray will make a permanent bookmark to that page and check it monthly and then we won't have to deal with the nonsense the rx7club.com moderators are trying to pull. I understand them nuking sales posts from their competitors on this forum but we're talking about OEM parts, not aftermarket parts and the last time I checked rx7store.net only sold a few new stock parts. Would the moderator who deleted that post mind standing up and explain their reasoning behind deleting it or would they prefer to wait behind the scenes for this thread to 'go away'? Thanks for the link to http://www.disney.com bigislandsevens, I didn't know that existed.

Yup, everyone should sign up. Looks like the much needed improvements in this club are being implemented there.

Yeah. I was also looking for that thread on prices on things. It's rediculous that thread got deleted. It's not like he was advertising himself. I guess we can't make any posts about where we can get XXX parts for $XXX at XXX. ******* nonsense.

This is just becoming ridiculous. This site is being run like a bad monarchy. What used to be a site for the people (rx7 people) has now become a playground for over zealous moderators and a greedy owner.

I normally don't complain, but this is a classic example of how a good idea gets perverted in to something for someone's personal gain.

Come be a part of a small struggling RX7 site that needs your help, and isn't owned by someone who puts personal profit above the needs of the community.
