I am looking for a contact or website for Nippon filters. OEM style. I can't find them anywhere. Here at work we received a sample from someone, but we cannot locate/contact them anywhere.

Check with atkins dan (on the forum) as he used to sell them. Now I think they get filters with their name printed on them, but they look like the same filter to me.

 

DJ...Dave from spooledupracing on the forums sent me a tune up kit with some Nippon products. I think he has what your lookin for.

 

The filters I have with my name on them are made by nippon so if you are looking for a deal a 6pk goes for about 27.00 shipped with in the USA ground...

Suposidly this guy is looking to buy in THOSAND LOT CASES... suposidly he is checking into this for his work who wants to do business with a direct supplier that can supply and demand over 1000 pieces at a time...

I told him I could have my supplier drop to him in whatever quantity he wanted... he declinded and just wanted the name of my supplier so he could go buy them himself...

Also we do NOT want to do business with your 'supplier'. I was wanting to get in contact with the manufacturer.

It is irrelevant now regardless. We have make contact and have samples on the way.

 

It is real hard to get in contact with the manufacturer as you have to meet a QTY, and I will be looking to do that here with in the next 6 months to a year at most..

Last time I was able to order 5 thousand {early 2001} of them {oil filters} and I even went in on another guy on the same order.. Now I am beeing told I have to order a min of 10 thousand to make it worth there time, and this is with me going in on the kind of order as we did last time.

If you want to go in on an order with me let me know and we can go from there...

Oh no, I appreciate your help Dan!!! I just didn't like the way Spooled came here acting like as *** like I was trying to steal his secret. We have contacted and are ordering well north of 10,000 as long as they pass Q/C.

However if this falls through, or the terms get skewed, I will get in contact with you Dan. However we will be ordering for all types, from MG, Yugo, and Honda to Ferrari, Porsche and Rolls Royce. We cover ALL imports, and alot of oddballs not available in the states.

Definitely. Once the samples are approved, and the numbers are worked out, I can let you know what I can get them for you. If its a better price, great! If not it was worth a shot!!
